The Great Basin Story
HISTORY
A recipe for better care...
Healthcare has always been our passion. We love people and want everyone to enjoy good health.

As time has gone on, healthcare has become more expensive. It has also become more difficult to find quality healthcare.
We started Great Basin Urgent Care to provide a place where patients can go for quality and affordable healthcare. We treat all of our patients like we would our own family.

OUR PROVIDERS
Terin Sessions
Family Nurse Practitioner
Terin is a Nurse Practitioner with an emphasis in Family Medicine. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2014 at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. As a nurse she worked oncology, surgery, and urgent care medicine before going back to school to become a provider. She graduated from South University with a Masters of Science in Nursing and became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2023.
Terin loves seeing patients of all ages, and her goal is to make every patient leave the clinic feeling they were listened to, and received thorough, up to date medical care.
Terin is a transplant from Arizona, but thinks of Cache Valley as home. Prior to becoming a nurse, she was a cosmologist in Arizona, and still does hair for family and friends. She also thrives on any and all things creative, crafty, and food related. Most of all, she loves being a wife to Chris, and mom to their three amazing daughters, and two cute dogs.
Chris Sessions
Physician Assistant
Chris earned his Masters of PA Studies at A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ in 2016, and has worked providing Emergency Medicine to rural America ever since.

Chris is dedicated to his patients and is passionate about giving customized care to each one, through evidence-based and current medical practice. He is skilled in a wide range of in-office procedures and is also licensed to perform DOT Physicals, medication assisted treatment for opioid use disorder and QMP.

Before practicing medicine, Chris was a diesel mechanic and worked on heavy equipment for the Arizona Army National Guard, where he served for 8 years. Chris was raised in rural California and Arizona, fueling his goal to see rural America receive outstanding, local medical care.
Chris has been married to Terin for almost 20 years and they have three wonderful daughters. He loves spending time with his family, being outdoors, and telling the occasional Dad joke. Chris is also fluent in Spanish.
